2011 Updates

Autumn 2011

Well first of all, we have the great Web Site migration. A Nasty price increase at my previous host led me to (finally) take on the issue of updating my decidedly slap-dash site in order to use a new (cheaper) host. To do this, yours truly had to take a crash course in the wonderful world of CSS and (to a lesser extent) HTML. What you see here are the results of (untold) hours of searching for the answer to individual tiny dilemmas and fighting my way up a (relatively steep) learning curve. Feel free to drop me a line and inform me (gently) of all the remaining uncorrected faults.

But, of course, there is always new stuff being churned out.
So starting off with . . .

New Artwork (Distant Vistas)

In addition to Sirens (Prominently featured here) we also have

which is nominally about celebrity, I suppose, and

Like Clockwork

Like Clockwork

which involves time, in amongst any number of other things. . .

From the world of Abstractions we have

The Arcade

which the people on flickr seem to like well enough (A big Thanks to all).

Other new Abstract things include

September 21 2011

September 21 2011

aka "Rhapsody in Blue"

December 1st 2011

December 1st 2011

I suspect that December 1st 2011 (being a good day) will get some companions as we start 2012, but with a trip to New Orleans (& beyond) coming soon finalization will have to wait. . .

In Photography

There was, as is usual, the Summer Road Trip.

This time it was Nevada & Wyoming that were featured.

Ruby Mts in Nevada

Lamoille Creek

Mormon Row

Little Pink Houses

Jackson Lake

Jackson Lake

and what trip to Wyoming is complete without a few days in the US's greatest open air Wildlife park. . .

Jewel Geyser

And More! Yes, it can only be Yellowstone National Park. I'm fortunate to have been able to visit twice in the last 5 years.

So it's safe to say that some more scenic beauty and animals will be added to the pile sometime early in 2012.

Till next time, Have Fun!
